NFC Forum specifies international testing standards for functional validation at the analog and digital protocol levels of phones, smart cards, devices and other systems implementing the NFC protocol in 13.56 Mhz contactless communications. NFC Forum standards are the foundation for ensuring the reliability and interoperability of NFC systems and devices. The NFC Forum standard and derived testing solutions allow conformance assessment of:

  • End-user contactless devices

  • Reader

  • NFC Tags

Conformance testing services for RFID devices

Most of the RFID systems are based on the ISO/IEC 14443 protocol in 13.56 Mhz contactless communications, and the ISO/IEC 10373-6 is the international test standard used to validate these systems at the analog and protocols levels.

The ISO/IEC 10373-6 standard and derived testing solutions allow conformance assessment of:

  • End-user contactless devices (tags, keyfobs, cards, etc.)

  • Contactless readers

  • Packaged devices (inlays, modules, MicroSD, etc.)

  • Embedded integrated circuits (hardware chips, secure elements)

ICUBE provides ISO/IEC 10373-6 analog & protocol level testing for functional validation of the contactless implementation in a variety of products that use the ISO/IEC 14443 communication protocol.

The laboratory is an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited testing facility for the smart card industry.
