The story of ICUBE is closely linked to its CEO, Stephane Jobard.
With a twenty-year experience in smart card testing standards, Stephane contributes extensively to standardization bodies including the International Standardization Organization Joint Technical Committee 1 (JTC1) working groups for integrated circuit cards (SC17/WG8), for travel documents (SC17/WG3) and drivers licences and related documents (SC17/WG10). He is a contributor on test methods for eMRTD, ISO Driving License and the ISO 10373-6 test standard.
In parallel, Stephane serves as the standards expert in the area of "cards and personal identification" for Small Business Standards (SBS), a European non-profit association, co-financed by the EC and members states to represent the interests of small and medium-sized enterprises in standardization processes at the European and international levels.
Stephane began his career at Thales, formerly Gemplus.
In 2004, he joined the startup Soliatis specialized in the development of testing solutions for smart cards and related technologies.
In 2012, Soliatis became KEOLABS, and Stephane led the definition and implementation of the companies' standard-specific certification solutions and services.
Recently, in 2019, Stephane Jobard launched ICUBE in order to concentrate his efforts on the testing center to provide the best services to his customers.
